The Sacred World Music Choir are a group of women who join together weekly to share the love and joy of singing. The songs we sing are with reverence to the Earth, and the elements, to the Sacredness of Life, and the joy of uncovering our True self.
etween 1837 and 1843, Georgiana Molloy collected specimens and seeds of the native plants of Taalinup and Undalup (Augusta and Busselton) and sent three exquisite botanical collections to James Mangles in London, who had requested the work. They were the highest quality that British botanists had ever received from WA. She was self-taught but her dried wildflower specimens are still studied in world herbariums. She died aged thirty-seven, having received no payment or formal recognition for her scientific achievements.

Originally from France, Janine studied Jazz at the prestigious conservatories in Paris while Michael, award winning WAAPA graduate, performs with some of Perth’s finest musicians. The Arts Margaret River Sundowners are an annual series of free family concerts that are well loved and well attended. The Sundowners support local musicians and enable Arts Margaret River to give back to our community, and for the community to be exposed to differing music styles. Mike Goodwin is a Margaret River local award winning singer songwriter. Kevin McDonald is the go to maestro of choice lending his talents to many Margaret River musical outfits. Including playing double bass and some lead guitar on Mike’s most recent EP release “Locked Down”. Kevin has been honing his skills on guitar and bass for a lifetime. Inspiration for my artwork comes from Margaret River's seascapes, forest, native birds, wild flowers and people. I have my own unique style of painting and have experience using a wide range of mediums. I prefer using a limited palette with bold contrast. Most of my paintings in this exhibition are acrylic on canvas, but I have included watercolour, prismacolour and oil pastels.
