The Woman who cooked her Husband – MR Theatre Group

25th, 26th October & 1st, 2nd November @ 7.30pm

Combine one extremely well written script, carefully dissected and prepared by one experienced director, with three highly talented local actors. Place them in a hot, spicy and tempestuous love triangle, add a dash of sound and danger, a pinch of lighting and colour, an abundant splash of jet-black humour, and a large dollop of acerbic wit and what do you get ?  A toe curling, and yet delicious concoction worthy of a local theatre company with an excellent reputation for first class, entertaining productions.

Debbie Isitt’s, “THE WOMAN WHO COOKED HER HUSBAND”,  is the entrancing, mouth-watering and very funny dish being plated and served up by the Margaret River Theatre Group at Margaret River’s HEART Studio Theatre for a strictly limited season from 25th October 2019.

Directed by Peter Kirkwood this darkly funny, adult black comedy is a thought provoking and yet highly entertaining exploration of food, cooking, love, jealousy, humiliation, treachery, deceit, betrayal, violence and revenge. This wickedly delicious black comedy will take you on an emotional rollercoaster ride and is a must for anyone who has loved anyone, been betrayed by anyone, likes food or has just eaten a meal.

Please note that the production contains adult themes, some coarse language and is performed without an interval. The bar opens at 6.30pm and the performance commences at 7.30pm.

Tickets: $25 each
