We Can Sing Mary Poppins!

Singing Workshops for ages 7-16
To encourage young singers who love the joyful and imagination-inspiring story of Mary Poppins, these summer holidays local singing teacher Andrea Frances Manners presents “We Can Sing Mary Poppins!” a vocal workshop for youth.
In this once only workshop, singers will participate in voice/body warm ups and then learn 2 well-loved classic songs from the Mary Poppins repertoire. During the session, singers will experiment with basic singing techniques such as pitch, timing, tone and articulation. As always, there will be a performance of the songs for parents/guardians at the end of the session.
Andrea Frances Manners has been teaching singing at her home studio and in local schools for 13 years after training at WAAPA and under Fisenden Music in Perth. She is also a current member of the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS). Andrea delights in working with young creatives who love to sing and perform by guiding them in healthy vocal techniques such as breathing, alignment, pitching, articulation and tone, along with how to harmonise and perform with confidence and joy!
