Join Nature Conservation Margaret River Region and the Undalup Association to find out why our marine environment is so unique.
Deep dive into Wadandi Sea Country and the Ngari Capes Marine Park with Zac Webb (Undalup Association), Dave Lierich (Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions) and Dr Tim Langlois (UWA Oceans Institute). Helping us all to improve our ocean literacy, we will hear from our speakers about the changes in coastline and sea level witnessed by the Wadandi people and the connection and custodianship borne out of their connection over thousands of generations. We will gain an update of the Ngari Capes Marine Park as it nears 12 years since its gazettal as a Marine Park, and learn of the unique biodiversity values of our region and the two way science being undertaken on Wadandi Sea Country.
