Margaret River Performance for Kids

Term 2 is a ‘Performance Term!’

During our 6 week, Term 2 DRAMA lessons, students will continue developing drama and acting skills. Kids will be engaged with drama games and the use of props/accessories/emotions to develop characterisation and improvisation skills. They will safely develop their ability to communicate and gain the confidence to perform, while having fun and making new friends.

The students in the 5-9 class will be devising a class performance, while the older students will be working towards a combination of both improvised and/or scripted scenes. Parents/families are welcome to watch their mini-performances in the last 15 minutes of the final lesson (on Monday June 22nd)…*Save The Date!*

Class Sessions

Monday afternoons: 

• May: 4/5, *  18/5,  25/5   (*no lesson 11th May as venue is unavailable)
• June:  *  8/6,  15/6,  22/6,   *   (*no 1/6 due to public holiday; * venue N/A 29/6)

Class Times

• 3.45-4.30pm – 5-9 year olds (45 minutes)
• 4.30-5.15pm – 10-13+ year olds (45 minutes)

The Studio Theatre at The HEART (Walcliffe Road)

Please note, full payment ($85 total for all 6 classes) will be required by the start of term of Term 2. Successful enrolments will be confirmed via email prior to Term 2, also communicating payment details.
