Young @ HEART – The Plum Trees

The Plum Trees is fronted by singer-songwriter, Shannon, based in Dunsborough.
Her musical journey started in Perth, to which she then relocated to Beijing to record an EP with a full band and played at popular music festivals such as The Mushroom Festival, Dream Sonic and Fete de La Musique. Returning to Australia as a solo project she continues to write and reinvent herself as a guitar & ukulele playing indie-folk-alt mystic with a powerful voice that remains informed by her earlier work, but these days channels more light than shade.
Shannon’s latest songs have been inspired by her beautiful surroundings in the southwest, such as the smell of wildflowers, tall green forests and the wide blue ocean. You can expect to hear a combination of grounded lyrics and ethereal tones emanating from her voice. All your worries will be instantly melted away.
