The Margaret River Library is really pleased to be hosting a talk by Dr Michael Levitt on Saturday 31st August, 2 – 3pm about his book ‘The Happy Bowel: a user-friendly guide to bowel health for the whole family’.
He is a specialist colorectal surgeon with a particular interest in the management of functional bowel disorders such as constipation, incontinence and irritable bowel syndrome and has recently been appointed as WA’s Chief Medical Officer.
This is Dr Levitt’s third book about bowel function but the first to gain a widespread readership. He has spoken about wanting to use a more accessible voice with this book and his writing style is clear, engaging and light-hearted.
Copies of his book will be available for purchase on the day with the Margaret River Bookshop in attendance.
