Sunday Sundowner Session
Sunday, February 22 @ 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
The Arts Margaret River Sundowners are an annual series of free family concerts that are well loved and well attended.
The Sundowners support local musicians and enable Arts Margaret River to give back to our community, and for the community to be exposed to differing music styles. Importantly, it enables low income families within the district the opportunity to attend a concert as a family group. Friends and family, some comprising four generations, gather with their picnic on the lawn and delight in the location, ambience and music.

Bethwyn Marie & The Songbirds
Born and raised in Bridgetown, Western Australia, Bethwyn, has been a part of the musical world since her early teens. Bethwyn started singing at various festivals in the South West when she was 13 years old. At 14, she started playing guitar and writing original music. Throughout the years, Bethwyn has performed in bands, trios, duos and as a solo artist in venues all around Western Australia.
Bethwyn Marie weaves stories of love, connection to nature, heart break, and challenges through her songs. Her eclectic taste in music shows through the variety in her songs; with acoustic rock, blues, folk, ballads and rhythmic beats in the mix.
Bethwyn now has a trio of tremendous vocalists backing her up… “The Songbirds” a.k.a Rev, Melinda and Laura, who bring gorgeous harmonies and a full bodied sound to Bethwyn’s songs.
I.Groove
I.Groove is a five piece band that aims to play the funkiest dance tunes from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. From Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson to Jamiroquai, Diana Ross… the band plays the music from the most contagious eras that make your body move and fulfil your soul! The experienced musicians deliver the groove with funky bass lines & drum rhythms, while vocals, guitar, keyboard and winds empower harmonies. Expect extended instrumental moments to keep the party on!
