Arts Events & Things To Do in Margaret River.
Arts Margaret River exists to support and nurture the work of artists across all disciplines, and to foster a love of the arts within our community.
Sunday Sundowner Session
Sunday, February 9 @ 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
The Arts Margaret River Sundowners are an annual series of free family concerts that are well loved and well attended.
The Sundowners support local musicians and enable Arts Margaret River to give back to our community, and for the community to be exposed to differing music styles. Importantly, it enables low income families within the district the opportunity to attend a concert as a family group. Friends and family, some comprising four generations, gather with their picnic on the lawn and delight in the location, ambience and music.
Hey Ramona
Margaret River based cover band made up of well-known local musicians. Playing up-beat party tunes that never fail to get an audience up on their feet and dancing.
Freeway South
Freeway South is a musical collective based around the lyrical stylings of singer songwriter Brett Wilson. They are excited to be bringing, for the first time, a 7-piece band to Cowaramup which will include the extraordinary talents of violinist Kate Telchader, Perth based guitarist and keyboard player Bryn Larkin and vocalist Beth Wynn. Tam Callaghan, Gary Larkin and Robbie Bruce as always will be laying down the gypsy folk reggae grooves.
“I think I enjoy these concerts even more than going to the big Leeuwin Concerts. The Sundowners really are for the community to enjoy.”
A local resident.
