Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival

Join us for a celebratory evening, with local artists sharing their works inspired by the power of storytelling.

This exhibition will be on display in Nala Bardip Mia – Margaret River HEART foyer gallery from Thursday, 30 April to Monday, 25 May 2026 and throughout the Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival (15-17 May).

Works were submitted in any artistic medium and artists were encouraged to be brave, challenge conventions and create works that will stimulate new conversations, change perspectives and spark joy. Entry was open to artists from the Shire of Augusta Margaret River, City of Busselton and Shire of Nannup aged over 17. All submissions are offered for sale at a reasonable price.  

All proceeds from the Visual Stories Exhibition Competition go towards the Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival.
