Explore your creative side with an array of diverse workshops
Learn new skills in a relaxed and enjoyable 3 hour class and take home a wonderful piece at the end of it.

Build a Bee Hotel – 9am-12pm
This workshop is a must for all nature lovers, giving you the chance to build your very own Native Bee Hotel. All materials are supplied, together with an information sheet about Bees. Customise your Bee Hotel with a variety of designs etched onto ply and leave with a beautiful creation for your garden and a place for bees to call home.
Presented by Sarah Scheltema from Ruby Daze Designs and Ian Thwaites.

Indigo Shibori Dyeing – 9am-12pm
Indigo dye is a natural dye with a distinctive blue colour. In this workshop you can learn how to use binding and clamping techniques to dye the provided samples and lengths of fabric and t-shirts or you can bring along your own natural fabric to dye. This is a great chance enhance the individuality of your craftwork or to create a standalone item to use or wear. Please note: Indigo dye can stain clothing and footwear, so be sure to wear something old! Presented by Dea Haddow.

Find Your Own Artistic Style – 1pm-4pm
This is a rare chance to be guided by iconic Margaret River artist Rebecca Cool through the process of finding your own unique artistic style. Use your ideas and inspiration, with guidance from Rebecca, to create a painting to take home that reflects your own individual style and creativity. Presented by Rebecca Cool.

Make a Living Succulent Dreamcatcher – 1pm-4pm
If you want to create an eye-catching piece for your home or garden, this workshop will guide you through the process of making a Living Succulent Dreamcatcher. Create a grapevine wreath and adorn it with succulents for a gorgeous keepsake or handmade gift. Please note: Your dreamcatcher will need to be laid horizontally for a few months after the workshop to allow for the roots catch onto the wreath. A great gift just in time for Christmas! Presented by Adele Clairs from Wild Art Floral Designs.

The workshops will be held at Fair Harvest and includes materials and morning or afternoon tea. A hearty, organic lunch comprising of soup/ bread /pesto is available for an additional $18 and must be pre-purchased.
