Rare plants on the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge with Professor Stephen Hopper.

Join Nature Conservation Margaret River Region and the Undalup Association to welcome renowned botanist and conservation biologist, STEPHEN HOPPER.

Stephen brings 50 years experience observing the unique endemism of our region, is a leader in his field having developed new theory on the evolution and conservation of biodiversity on the world’s oldest landscapes. He visits us from his current position in Albany at UWA’s Centre of Excellence in Natural Resource Management where his focus is on the evolution, ecology, conservation and indigenous knowledge systems of temperate global biodiversity hotspots working alongside First Nations Elders.

We hope you can join us for light supper and a drink while Stephen shares his unique insight and love for the iconic  ora of the Margaret River region.

He will be joined by Wadandi Cultural Custodian, Zac Webb for audience Q and A.
