The featured item will be a short musical play (30 minutes), a long time collaboration between Bunbury poet/librettist Sigari Luckwell and musician/composer Gordon Tayler. This pilot is destined for a full 90 minute musical in the near future.

Enjoy the Bunbury City Council of the day (1980s) debating and wrangling in verse and music over the ethics of enticing these beautiful wild creatures into closer human association – a delicious historical moment with thought provoking humour.
We have 12 vocalists on board, with narration by well known Noongar Elder Gloria Dan. Admission is free, and the acoustics of the venue are excellent.
Also a premiere of a song written for our dear friend Dr Chrissy Sharp, a renowned environmental activist, who departed this world not so long ago.
The program does not run on public holidays or when there is another major event in the foyer.
The initiative was developed to safely encourage participation in the arts among older residents (over 60s) during the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Due to high interest, the free performances have since been opened to people of all ages. Nonetheless, the senior demographic still makes up the majority of the audience.
