Sundowner Series: Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park – at a crossroads
Tuesday, May 14 @ 5:45 PM – 8:00 PM
Join Nature Conservation Margaret River Region for this important community update as we stand at the crossroads for our treasured Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park.
Home to extensive culturally significant sites, the towering Boranup Forest, countless threatened fauna and flora species, diverse fragile granite outcrops and the gateway to the iconic Margaret River coast, the Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park is the most visited National Park in Western Australia. It contains incredible cultural, conservation and recreation values but with over 4.6million visitors annually, 55 access points and over 100km of sought-after coast its management is particularly challenging.
We invite you to be part of this special evening as part of Nature Conservation Margaret River Region’s Sundowner Series, we have curated what promises to be three engaging and informative perspectives on current and future park management followed by an audience Q and A promoting robust community discussion regarding the current challenges and responses for our beloved national park.
We hope you can join us for light supper and a drink and become part of the conversation with the audience Q and A.
