Each year, the Visual Stories Art Competition and Exhibition forms an exciting part of the Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival with unique works displayed for a month over the festival period in the foyer of Margaret River HEART.
The creative theme for the Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival 2022 is NO WORD LIMIT and artists were invited to submit works that bring this theme to life and communicate the unstoppable power of storytelling at a time where our lives are subject to so many limitations.
The exhibition will be on display in the Margaret River HEART foyer gallery from Tuesday 3rd May 2022 to Tuesday 31st May 2022 (*may be extended into June).
First Prize = $1000 Offered by Margaret River Rotary
Second Prize = $500 With thanks to the Shire of Augusta Margaret River
Third Prize = $300
People’s Choice = $100 With thanks to Margaret River Art Studio
The Official Opening event will be held on Wednesday 4th May 5pm – 7pm when the winners of the competition will be announced. Everyone is welcome to attend.
