‘A Taste of Ireland―The Irish Music & Dance Sensation’ comes to Margaret River for the first time with a performance that is ‘Celtic―for this generation’. Laugh, cry and jig into the night with a show that has entertained thousands.

 

Hot off its premiere New York City run in 2020 and with 130 shows in 2019 across Australia and New Zealand, ‘A Taste of Ireland’ features acclaimed Irish dancers, dazzling folk musicians and contemporary vocalists. Experience the raw, rhythmic passion that is the original story of the Celtic motherland.

 

With revamped classics like ‘Danny Boy’ and ‘Tell Me Ma’, the show’s live, energetic blend of well-known tunes, jaw-dropping acapella tap battles, melodic folk music mash-ups and craic galore transports you through the story of Ireland’s tumultuous history, complimented by stunning production and lighting.

 

Including beautiful scenic visuals, glitz, glamour and poetic narration, A Taste of Ireland’ combines toe-tapping rhythms with heart-warming emotion to create a contemporary Irish dance showcase that will leave you shouting for more.

Speakeasy story – The Jazz Show

“SPEAKEASY STORY” is a jazz show sprinkle with humour, stories and the amazing music of speakeasy era.

International Jazz performers Serge Le Goueff (vocals and saxophones) and Paula Renée (vocals), will take you through an entertaining world of gangsters, jazz men, divas, cocktails and flappers during this show.

Mr and Mrs Smith don’t just play Jazz, they live it!

When you go to see them, you are going to see a show, not just a gig; and you will come home with a lot more than a head full of music. Valentine – Puppet Show

Help Valentine as she searches for her heart

Valentine is a clown and her best friend is her heart. She loves to spend time with her Grandpa, but Grandpa’s heart is running out of time, and there is nothing Valentine can do about it. Valentine is determined to be strong, not to fall apart, but in doing so she loses her heart. With a big empty world ahead of her, the audience helps Valentine on a journey to search for her heart, as she learns to embrace her emotions – even the painful ones.

Like a story book that comes to life before your eyes, Valentine combines shadow puppetry, animation and physical theatre to create a visually spectacular show. Designed for families and children Valentine is an honest, playful, and interactive show about what it means to love and lose somebody.

Valentine was developed with support from Spare Parts Puppet Theatre as part of their FirstHand puppetry training program.
