Visual Stories – Call for EOIs
Entries are now open for the ‘Visual Stories’ exhibition as part of the 2023 Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival. You can enter using the form below or via https://forms.gle/qG1MnsXutucf21vh8
The creative theme for the Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival 2023 is “Let’s Take A Moment”. Artists are invited to submit works that bring this theme to life and communicate the power of storytelling to help us stop, breathe, reflect and reconsider in a time where we are bombarded with information and noise.
Work can be submitted in any artistic medium and artists are encouraged to be brave and challenging and create works that will stimulate conversations, change perspectives, and give the viewers joy.
The entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $20 for subsequent entries and is non-refundable (limit of 2 entries per person).
Entry is open to West Australian artists over 17, residing in Western Australia.
- All submissions must be offered for sale at a reasonable price.
- Entries open Tuesday 7 March and close Friday 14 April 2023.
- Delivery of work on Wednesday 26 April 2023, 10am–4pm to Margaret River HEART, 47 Wallcliffe Rd, Margaret River WA 6285.
- The exhibition will be on display in the Margaret River HEART foyer gallery from Monday 1 May 2023 to Monday 29 May 2023.
- Collection of work on Tuesday 30 May 2023 10am–4pm.
