Young @ HEART – Si&B
Monday, November 25 @ 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Sian and Bruno present a musical fusion of original and cover songs.
Singing in English and French, from jazz-pop, bossa-nova and reggae music, this dynamic
and sensual duo brings you on a journey that will make your heart vibrate.
Si&B are both multi-instrumental artists, playing ukulele, flute, guitars, u-bass and
percussion; the musicality is diverse and the grooves, hypnotic.
Sian is a WAAPA trained flautist, vocalist, come ukulele player, and is back from a decade
in the USA playing in a soul/funk band.
Bruno has been playing his French gypsy-grooves in WA with his band SOL-R until 2017.
Cultural diversity, environmental issues and social justice inspire his music, his lyrics
spread messages for a better humanity, in harmony with nature.
About Young@HEART
The Young@HEART music program is held at Margaret River HEART every Monday morning from 10am to 11am. The program does not run on public holidays or when there is another major event in the foyer.
The initiative was developed to safely encourage participation in the arts among older residents (over 60s) during the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Due to high interest, the free performances have since been opened to people of all ages. Nonetheless, the senior demographic still makes up the majority of the audience.
Young@Heart is broadcast live on Radio Margaret River.
