ArtsMR Member PricingArts Margaret River exists to support and nurture the work of artists across all disciplines, and to foster a love of the arts within our community.
The SW Baroquers perform music from 1650-1820, covering the baroque and early classical eras. The group consists of WASO bassoonist Linda Chateris, SW Philharmonic Orchestra Lead flautist Sabine Kozlowski, and baroque string players Kate Telchadder, Tiani Glasgow and Bianca Kozlowski.
Baroque music is joyful, uplifting and entertaining, and covers a full spectrum of emotions. At the Heart Concert on 14th July, the SW Baroque Ensemble will play such pieces by Telemann, Haydn and Handel. We look forward to sharing our beautiful music with you.
The Young@HEART music program is held at Margaret River HEART every Monday morning from 10am to 11am. The program does not run on public holidays or when there is another major event in the foyer.
The initiative was developed to safely encourage participation in the arts among older residents (over 60s) during the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Due to high interest, the free performances have since been opened to people of all ages. Nonetheless, the senior demographic still makes up the majority of the audience.
Young@Heart is broadcast live on Radio Margaret River
