An avid ambassador for WA music, Dan has over 15 years of professional experience in the music and entertainment industry after growing up with a guitar in hand and performing regularly since 11 years of age.
Dan has toured and recorded extensively, with 1500+ shows and 8 records to his name, having supported acts such as Xavier Rudd, The Cat Empire, San Cisco and many more in his time. Dan currently performs with Margaret River-based acts @brightsiderofficial and @moonandhoneymusic, and you can catch him performing solo around the South West Region.
A music lover at heart and always up for a laugh, Dan also hosts Local Produce on Radio Margaret River every Thursday 4-5pm.
About Young@HEART
The Young@HEART music program is held at Margaret River HEART every Monday morning from 10am to 11am. The program does not run on public holidays or when there is another major event in the foyer.
The initiative was developed to safely encourage participation in the arts among older residents (over 60s) during the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Due to high interest, the free performances have since been opened to people of all ages. Nonetheless, the senior demographic still makes up the majority of the audience.
Young@Heart is broadcast live on Radio Margaret River.
