The Reggie D’Souza drum and percussion program accommodates students of all ages from children to adults and all skill levels from beginners to professional musicians. The overall experience of making music together creates unity, motivation and group bonding and best of all is fun! By bringing people together with a common focus, drumming has the capacity to release negative feelings and leave people with a sense of belonging.
Ernie Dingo is an iconic Australian legend, his talents as an actor, television host, reporter and comedian have made him one of Australia’s best known and most loved performers. This workshop provides and introduction to acting and self-esteem development through confidence building, fun improvisation activities.
Have you ever dreamed of writing your own songs or creating melodies in your head? In this workshop with Grammy-winning violinist and composer Emily Gelineau, you’ll learn how to write your own music and come up with some song ideas by the end of the session! Writing music is a fun way to express your feelings and explore your creativity. Join us to discover how to turn your ideas into beautiful songs!
The Community Canvas is a chance for everyone to join forces and create a unique piece of art together, led by artist and performer Phil Walleystack. Phil Walleystack is a multifaceted Noongar artist from country Western Australia with traditional connections to the Whadjuk, Yued, Ballardong, and Wardarndi language groups. In this group workshop, you’ll learn how to collaborate with others and make incredible visual art. Come and be part of this creative experience!

Participants will rotate through all four workshops which will run concurrently. Each workshop is limited to 20 participants at any one time. Suitable for age 12+.
