Traverse – David Spencer @ Hay Shed Hill

My artistic career has reached ten years. Ten years of continuous growth and change. This collection of work not only marks my ninth solo exhibition, but represents my focus on being a contemporary Australian artist.

The past year has seen massive impacts on my life. The passing of my grandfather was hugely upsetting. But I was healed with the birth of my first child.

These events happen daily and to everyone. The understanding, sincerity and joy from family and friends is always offered and is always beautiful. That support gives my journey the strength and purpose to continue.

This exhibition is about those incredible life events, as I traverse from one experience to the next.
