Sasha Cameron is a young local emerging artist with a passion for the natural world.
June 5-26. Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm
Exhibition Launch: Friday, June 6, 6-8pm
Her preferred mediums include watercolour, acrylic, graphite, and watercolour pencil. Living locally with her nine-year-old son, she works from home as a full-time mum and part-time artist, drawing inspiration from the beauty of Wardandi Boodja.
Sasha’s artwork captures the beauty of the West Australian environment, highlighting her keen eye for detail and inviting viewers into moments of stillness with her subjects. In her upcoming exhibition, “Nature’s Window,” she collaborates with the local flora and fauna of Margaret River. This collection reflects her ongoing studies of the local environment, exploring both refined watercolour techniques and a looser, expressive multimedium style.
Sasha’s captivating and unique artwork invites audiences to connect more deeply with nature, fostering a sense of belonging and care that inspires efforts to protect our precious ecosystems. Attendees can expect an immersive experience filled with vibrant colours, intricate details, and thoughtful reflections on the natural world.
