The Shire of Augusta Margaret River presents this FREE screening of Minari (PG) to celebrate Harmony Week 2025.
Harmony Week in WA runs from 15 – 21st March every year and encourages people to experience, explore and appreciate WA’s wealth of cultural, religious, linguistic and ethnic diversity.
A tender and sweeping story about what roots us, Minari follows a Korean-American family that moves to a tiny Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream.
The family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother. Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozarks, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.
Academy Award Winner for Best Supporting Actress – Yuh-Jung Youn.
Time: join us at 11:15am for a free light lunch and activity, followed by a 12:15pm movie screening.
