A Black Swan State Theatre Company production.
Two strangers meet in a bar. She’s totally out of his league; he’s not her type at all. They absolutely should not sleep together, definitely not after this much wine. But they do.
In the early morning light they part ways, but are reunited in a chance encounter when they are both a bit desperate. From there, they begin a legendary lost weekend – full of hangovers, ruined weddings, a bag of stolen money, Goth kids, Japanese rope bondage … and maybe love!
Midsummer [a play with songs] is definitely not Shakespeare, and definitely not for children!
“… has left audiences everywhere gobsmacked and giggly, unexpectedly aroused, cringing in embarrassment and swooning with sheer joy.” Scene Magazine
“… an affectionate piss-take of love, adulthood and Edinburgh city. Mostly it’s just bloody funny.” Brisbane Times
“Irresistible and unmissable” The Herald
Tickets: Adults $35, Arts Hub Members $25
