When young love meets a giant fin, suddenly life seems large, scary and beautiful.
Jack and Lauren are trapped in a nightmare only one of them will walk away from. When they come face-to-face with the ocean’s apex predator, suddenly life seems big, scary and beautiful.
Award-winning artists The Skeletal System won over critics and audiences with this tale of love and heartache in the deep blue sea.
Written, directed and featuring Will O’Mahony, one of WA’s most promising young theatremakers, Great White caused a big splash when it premiered at The Blue Room Theatre and Fringe World, winning four awards and nominated for many more.
“It’s a story about growing up, pivotal moments, where you’re forced to make a decision and live with it. Do I love this person? Will I stay or leave? What do I want and am I prepared to die chasing it? Great White puts a stop to the inertia of life.” O’Mahony said.
Partnering with the team from Perth’s Barefaced Stories, the Great White tour will also feature storytelling workshops.
“If you like intelligent, brilliantly constructed, acutely relevant and deeply affecting theatre, stop reading here and go and see Great White.” – ArtsHub
