Celebrate the opening of CinefestOZ 2019 in Margaret River with Storm in a Teacup, featuring one of the region’s best known and loved artists, Leon Pericles and his wife Moira.

Arrive for a pre-screening reception of canapés and a welcome drink in the Shire of Augusta Margaret River Foyer, surrounded by an array of Leon’s life work. There will be a special opportunity as one of Leon’s works will be up for live auction in support of Dementia Australia.

The film screening follows, at the adjacent Margaret River HEART, with the captivating and deeply personal documentary Storm in a Teacup, told by their daughter Nia. After the screening hear from Nia and Leon Pericles about the making of the film, in a hosted Q&A session.

Please note: there will be two screenings of the film on the evening and guests will join a shared function and auction in between the screenings; this function commences at 7:30pm, the film screens from 8:30pm; runtime includes whole event. Please note both screening are SOLD OUT.
