Carnival Parade – Celebrate the Rains

Saturday, May 31 @ 3:00 PM 6:00 PM

Carnival parade

Margaret River is dancing in the streets in a CARNIVAL PARADE to celebrate the season of the rains, and dance life back to country after the long dry.

Register your expression of interest by purchasing a free ticket here for you or your group – supply contact details to get involved and keep up-to-date.

What is it?

We’ll fly a giant street puppet of the Wounded Wild, dance to samba and swirl a magic river, skate and skip masked birds and animals, sing up a storm, roll wheelbarrows of flowers and native plants, parade giant characters and creatures … basically make a big fun RAIN DANCE together.

Join with your friends, kids, groups, clubs, families, community, workmates, playmates, pushing or pulling quirky floats on recycled wheels or simply your fun dancing feet.

  • no petrol cars, no emissions, no pollution
  • reduce-reuse-repurpose-recycle-replant
  • leave only footsteps, take only photos
