Everyone has a story to tell, and Barefaced Stories’ Andrea Gibbs can coax it out of them. Funny, disgusting, engrossing, heartbreaking – Perth’s Barefaced Stories features true-life tales told straight from the heart.
Working closely to hone their skills, Barefaced allows community members from all walks of life to become performers, giving them the tools to make their stories heard through workshops and take-home activities.
Drawing on themes from Great White – community members will be encouraged to deliver their own true life stories.
For more information and to book a place in the workshop ring Arts Margaret River on 97587316 – only 10 places available and to learn more about Barefaced Stories, go to: https://www.barefaced.com.au/
The workshop is held over 2 days: Sat 24 October 2pm to 6pm (Find Your Story) & Sun 25 October 9am-1pm (Craft the Story)
“It doesn’t matter whether or not you have had acting, writing or story-telling experience or if you were a seasoned pro or not; this workshop is perfect giving you the very clear steps to crafting your story. Andrea will take you out of your comfort zone, exposing the “raw” without you even realising. You will be awe inspired with your fellow attendees because when you tell the real story is when you are able to connect in such a way that is indescribably wonderful.” – Student, June 2015
Special ticket offer for workshop attendees to the play ‘Great White’ on Thursday 29 October – $25 ticket (you get the show and the 2 day workshop for the same price as a standard theatre ticket). Mention this offer when booking your ticket through the box office on 9758 7316 (Mon to Fri 10am to 4pm)
