Following on from the successful Secret Garden Soiree in 2021, Arts Margaret River will present another Art in the Garden event at the end of January 2022. This event has become our annual signature fundraising event and will be held in a different delightful garden each year. All funds raised at the event will help Arts Margaret River to continue our mission to support and nurture the work of artists across all disciplines, and to foster a love of the arts and social cohesion within our community.

The 2022 event will be held on Sunday 30th January at Tanah Marah, in a beautiful lakeside setting. The theme for the event is Blanc de Blanc and attendees have the opportunity to ‘frock up’ and don their best all white outfits. The format for the afternoon will include a delicious high tea, local wines, bubbles, beers and live music. A selection of artworks will be silent and live auctioned on the day plus there will be a large selection of small 9×5 works for sale along with raffles and the opportunity to win door prizes.

Artworks by Leon Pericles, Alice Linford-Forte, Kay Gibson, Peter Moir, Carmen McFall and many more local artists will be featured. The proceeds from the auction will be a split of up to 50/50 between artists and Arts Margaret River, providing artists with the opportunity to promote their work and also earn some income from the event. Artworks will be available for online viewing and open to online bids from Tuesday 4 January to Friday 29 January 2021 at 10:00am. These bids will then be carried over to the live auction at Tanah Marah on Sunday 30th January.
